A set of unique body-based skills have emerged from the principles and practice of Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy that can be learned by everyone. They are based on the awareness that each person is inherently healthy and whole, no matter what sort of conditions they are experiencing. Biodynamic Skills are gentle and non-invasive, and are highly effective in working with a wide range of emotional and physical challenges. They help balance the nervous system and resolve the effects of stress and trauma, leading to greater relaxation, focus, attention, and felt-sense awareness of wholeness deeper than our particular suffering. By beginning to embody and practice these skills, the holistic nurse will have an invaluable tool for self-care and will be an empowering facilitator for those she partners in their journey toward greater health and wellbeing.

Through didactic instruction and experiential learning participants will:

  • develop body centered skills to sense and recognize levels of nervous system activation in themselves and their patients,
  • use the Social Nervous System along with simple gentle touch skills to support a holistic shift in themselves and their patients and to support access to deepening levels of stillness
  • shift attention from treating disease to supporting what Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy calls the Inherent Health, a wholeness always available beneath the impact of conditioned forces
  • experience how the Inherent Health begins to resolve patterns of pain, stress, and trauma

Tuition: $250.00
