Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy
A very gentle but powerful way of resolving stress and pain, this therapy
utilizes an essential quality in each person that we call Inherent Health.
Our practitioners use their hands to follow subtle rhythms of expansion
and contraction in the client. These rhythms point the way to the places
in the client's body that hold stress and pain. The practitioner helps the
client to move into a state of relaxation (stillness), in which stress and
pain decrease or disappear.
Settling Touch and Resourcing
Developed by Gary Peterson, this is another gentle, hands-on way of
relieving stress and pain. Our practitioners use specific contacts with
the client's body to follow the client's nervous system into a discharge
(decompression) process. Sometimes the practitioner also coaches the
client through a relaxation sequence which enhances the discharge process.
Biodynamic Massage Therapy
Our state-licensed massage therapists combine massage techniques
with the Biodynamic approach, resulting in deep muscle relaxation as
well as nervous system balancing. Our therapists will customize the
massage to your individual needs, allowing you to experience the
release of specific body tensions so you can rest deeply and be renewed.
Psychotherapy
Our staff psychologist is also a Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist and
uses a body-oriented approach, helping you find resolutions to troubling
issues. She will assist you to track your own body sensations and slow
down your pacing to help settle your nervous system. As you settle, she
will listen with presence and compassion to help you identify and let go
of stressors that affect your thinking, feeling and actions.
