Gary Peterson is the STAR Institute's founder and director. He has 28
years of experience in holistic healthcare as an educator, practitioner and
administrator. Gary was the Spa Director at Murrieta Hot Springs world class
spa in the mid 1980's, and was the Executive Director of the American Polarity
Therapy Association (APTA) from 1993-2000. He is an approved teacher with
the Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy Association of North America and a
Registered Polarity Educator with the APTA. Gary's book, Settling: Simple
Ways to Calm Your Nervous System, will be published soon.
Bonnie Peterson, RCST, CMLDT
Bonnie Peterson began practicing therapeutic bodywork in 1972.
She has worked with clients in a variety of medical, spa and private
settings. She is the co-founder of Energia Stress Management Center in
Longmont, and is also a therapist on staff at Colorado Healthquest Physical
Therapy Clinic in Boulder. Bonnie specializes in using Biodynamic
Craniosacral Therapy and Manual Lymph Drainage to work with all sorts of
phsyical conditions. She is nationally certified in Biodynamic Craniosacral
Therapy and Manual Lymph Drainage.
Trudy Wayne, RCST, PT
Trudy has been a practicing physical therapist for the past 38 years with
experience encompassing a broad range of diagnoses as well as age ranges,
from infants to geriatrics. She has enjoyed lengthy terms of employment at
The Children’s Hospital and Veteran’s Medical Center in Denver and Boulder
Community Hospital as well as its Mapleton Rehabilitation Center. She began
her education in craniosacral therapy in 1992, becoming fascinated with this
approach to assisting people toward “wholeness.” Trudy has a BA degree in
physical therapy from Marquette University, and a BA degree in Holistic
Health and Wellness from Metro State in Denver.
