Description

Note: In this series we’ll learn how to work with the subtleties of the cranial nerves, the spine and the peripheral nerves. Besides increasing your anatomical awareness, this exploration will introduce you to a further skill in the Biodynamic skill set––nerve tracking. Nerve tracking requires you to deepen your skills of listening, conversation and recognition, and to add another dimension to those skills – tracking the health and inertia of the system along entire nerve pathways.

This work will enable us to work skillfully with a variety of cranial nerve pathologies, such as trigeminal neuralgia, as well as peripheral nerve pathologies, such as carpal tunnel syndrome.

Join us for the entire series, or attend any 3-day class separately.

In CRANIAL NERVES II:

We’ll be visiting the following nerves and exploring a “felt sense” awareness of (1) the origins and pathways, (2) the functions, as well as discussing (3) the nerve pathologies. Then we’ll be learning to do nerve tracking – tracking the health and inertia of the system along the entire nerve pathway, seeking space, stillness and disengagement as indicated by the client’s system.

The nerves we’ll explore in CRANIAL NERVES II are:

Olfactory (I), Vestibulocochlear (VIII), Glossopharyngeal (IX), Vagus (X), Accessory (XI) and Hypoglossal (XII).
